OUR MISSION:
Newcastle Christian Preschool's mission is to provide an outreach ministry to the community by providing a quality and biblically based learning environment for children ages 2 to pre-K5. More than half of all children who attend church-sponsored preschool are from families who are not members of the sponsoring church. This program may be their only contact with any church. We thank GOD for the potential opportunity and seek his guidance on how to use that contact for their good and his glory. We strive for our program to be an integral part of the total ministry of Newcastle Christian Church - to be a serving and ministering arm of the church.
CURRICULUM:
Our curriculum will seek to develop the child physically, mentally, socially, emotionally and morally/spiritually with age appropriate activities.
BIBLE TIME:
We will have bible time every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9:50 a.m. for 3,4 and 5 year olds. During this time they will hear a bible story, learn bible verses, and sing bible related songs. The two year old classes will have their own bible time in their classrooms.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
The preschool program will run on Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.. We will follow the Newcastle Public School Calendar for school closing and holidays. As we are a curriculum-based program, we will not accept drop-ins.
ENROLLMENT:
Enrollment is open to children ages 2 through Pre-K5. Our enrollment will be limited to 40 students. Anyone desiring to enroll their child after we have reached 40 will be placed on a waiting list.
FEES:
Enrollment Fee: A one time non refundable fee of $50.00 will be charged at the time of enrollment to cover the child's class room supplies for the year. A 50% discount will be offered to the second child to the same family.
TUTION:
A monthly tuition of $120.00 will be due on the first of each month. For a second child to the same family, a 10% discount will be given.
